oh… your here, i didnt really expect you to be so bear with me. I know i read this part of websites i guess i just didnt think other people do

IDK where to start so ill start from the beginning.

GRAPE JUICE didn’t start as a restaurant it started as a wineshop. a wine shop in INGRAM TEXAS in the early part of 2007.

The OG owners Pat & Keri, set up shop in a stone building to fill a need at the time. that need was WINE. By the Bottle, By the Glass & By the Case. From there they quickly gained a following and out grew that little stone building in INGRAM.

In 2009 they moved the business to 623 WATER STREET where we currently reside. From there they ventured into food. The original menus weren’t even printed they started on a chalk board. As the business grew with KERRVILLE, the need for something between a dive bar and fine dining was apparent. No shade to either of those “business models” but where the gaps were GRAPE JUICE filled em’.

A place where you could get a Bordeaux with a burger. A place you could have a date night and a place you hang with the homies. Fine dining in Flip Flops.

KERRVILLE’s LIVING ROOM

In August of 2017 a kid named Daric started bussing tables. That kid failed upwards for a couple years and found himself running the restaurant. That kid was Me.

In April of 2025, My Wife Heidi & I took over ownership of the restaurant. We either knew exactly what we were doing or i lost my mind. both are pretty accurate.

That brings us to now, with you reading a brief history i typed while crushing caffeine in a coffee shop trying to figure out how to design a website.

TLDR; Started as a wine shop in ’07, Relocated to Kerrville ‘09, Daric & Heidi took over ownership ‘25.
