In anticipation of Beer Ed next week and in honor of the holiday season we'll be tapping the Saint Arnold Christmas Ale this Thursday.  The style is an Old Ale, intended to age for years.  I'm not waiting, are you?

What allows the beer to age is the higher alcohol content - 7%.  I've tried this year's in the bottle, but anxiously await the first pour from the tap.  Click on the link below to let me know you're coming.

6:30 'til we're done

The cooler season is a great time to focus on sherry and we'll do just that for our first wine tasting at Grape Juice.  We'll serve five food courses with a different sherry for each one, matched to perfection.  Space is limited so please sign up early.  The cost is $55.

Every Tuesday Night 6-7 pm

Grape Juice focuses more on the tasting and enjoyment of the wine than the education part, but you never know when you might just learn something along the way.  We usually taste about 6 wines - the themes will range from "Pinots from Around the World" to "Top 100" to "Stuff We Like to Drink".

The cost is only $10 and if you purchase any 3 wines or more that evening we'll take $10 off.  So, basically it's a free way to taste great wine.  Don't miss out.

No Wine Ed on December 15 because of the Sherry Tasting.

I've delayed this a week, but it'll be worth it.  My first thought was to do Beer Ed on the 2nd.  Conflicts arose and one of the beers I want to pour was delayed a week in arrival - Deschutes Jubelale from Oregon.  You know, Oregon is not close to Texas. 

The theme is Holiday Beer.  We'll focus on a selection of beers from around the country that'll make you think about Christmas and the cooler temperatures ahead.  Here's the proposed list:

It's finally arrived!

We've heard about - and been telling you about - this wine for months.  One of our favorite importers, The Grateful Palate, is bringing in what we believe may be a new favorite.  Many of you have met the older sister - Bitch Grenache.  Well, the bubbly version has arrived and we have lots of bottles stacked and ready just for you.

The wine is expected to arrive Dec 2.  If you're headed to Wine Share at Bank of the Hills on Friday remember that the theme is bubbles.  Be the first to arrive with the Bitch Bubbly!
